I am starting to get the hang of this. As you know, Monday I was rebelling against the system as I often do. I wanted oatmeal and brown rice and sweets. Now I am on day 5 and have no desire to have all the junk I ate for the last month and a half. Maybe I am talking myself into it but I walked pass cake the other day and wasn't sad that I couldn't have any. I think I can finally say I can maintain this lifestyle. I also think I have chosen a exercise program that I can live with. This year I am not trying to promote burnout but workout hard and effectively. No need to spend hours and hours at the gym (except when I am on duty), right. That said, here is my yesterday.

Thursday, January 6
B-turkey sausage, lentil bean soup
S-trail mix
L-corn, green beans, sardines
D-apple pecan salad with grilled chicken (yum)
S-apple
Exercise: spinning and weight training (legs, biceps, triceps)

Smith Squats (added 50lbs) 3x 12
Bicep Curls CC 3 x 15 (30lbs)
Tricep Pull Downs (40lbs) 3x 20
Lunges 3 x 15
Lying Tricep Extensions 3x 20 (15lbs)
Hamstring Curl Machine 3 x 10
Leg Press (110lbs) 3 x 15
