The Weekend

This was one of the best weekends I have had in a long time. Being "forced" not to eat certain foods is definitely teaching me to have willpower and recognize how many times I have given to something that someone else was having. Having to say no (sometimes many times a day) brings it to reality. Today I gave up a personal pan pizza, goldfish crackers, a Krispy Kreme doughnut and nachos. Having willpower takes discipline but its worth it. I will say there were times this weekend when I felt like I was starving but I "made it" to my next meal. I'm still here!

Saturday, January 8
B-Fruit and trail mix
L-corn, green beans with almonds
S-raisins
D-Chop It Grilled Chicken Asian Salad
Exercise: 45 min cardio
Comments: That workout was enjoyable because I watched Millionaire match maker!

Sunday, January 9
B-oatmeal, banana, orange juice
L-chicken, broccoli
S-fruit cup
D-lettuce, tomato, grilled chicken (taco but removed taco shell)
Exercise: Rest Day

  1. Which Millionare Matchmaker was it??? Sometimes, wanting to see the end of a tv show will keep me on the treadmill/ellpitcal just so I can see what happens!

    The food sounds good. Any chance you could post recipes of anything you make? (Like that chicken pecan salad from the other day... sounds yum!)
