Day 19-Friday 11/27

Today was okay. Not my greatest but alright. I didnt get as much exercise in as I wanted to after sitting at home wishing for the gym on Turkey Day, but I managed to get in some cardio (basketball) for about 35 minutes. I will say I was working hard because after I was done I needed my inhaler. That's a sign that my intensity level is high. I also got in a short circuit training workout that included alternating lunges, lateral raises, the leg press machine, lat pull downs, step ups, bosu hop overs and bicep curls. I was training someone during this workout and managed to get in a couple sets myself. I did the lunges with her because I knew she didnt want to do them...call that support.

Here's what I ate:
B-egg beaters, 4 strips of turkey bacon
S-apple
L-snack wrap and vegetable soup from McDonalds
S-ww yogurt
D-100 calorie bread with grilled chicken
S-oatmeal cookie

Comments: Let me tell you about this cookie. Now, I wanted something before I went to the movies (Let me add here that the new ninja movie was one of the bloodiest movies I have ever seen). I had the option of pistachios, which were 150 calories but 10 grams of fat or this cookie, which I assume was about 200 calories and 7 grams of fat. Now, the pistachios would have had more protein but I wanted something sweet. Long story short, I went with cookie. I was so disappointed because it wasnt that good..actually it was bad. That's what I get :( Next, we I am going to eat cleanier. More veggies and sweet potato and lean proteins. That's my ticket to Flex magazine and Muscle & Fitness Hers. Remember I have 30 days to loose 8lbs...Can I do it?????

So, now its Saturday and I am in the computer lab about to enter some data into the SPSS program for my study on exercise adherence and conscientiousness, but the university gym closes at 4:30 (I think). The plan is to enter data for an hour (87 people responded to my survey) then workout. After my workout, I will come back to continue. Sounds like a plan. The lazy part of my just wants to finish doing school work...can you believe that. But I know I will feel great after my workout. I will let you know what happen a little later..........

By the way, I may have mentioned to you that I am also sending in pictures to this magazine as mentioned above. I think I should just camp out at the gym in a tent. Ironically, I was in CVS this morning (Saturday) looking to purchase this magazine so I could review it and guess what Melissa M., had it waiting for me at her house. She read my mind. It's great that those who are reading my blog are staying to top of me. I appreciate it!!!!
