Day 9

Today was a good day, but I didnt get in the strength training workout that I had planned. I did teach an impromptu yogalates class, however, which included many planks and upper body strength moves. While teaching kickboxing I got in 2 series of squats and lunges and got my heart rate up during our cardio burst and jab, cross, hook combinations. All in all I had a balanced workout....40 minutes of yogalates and 30 minutes of intense kickboxing with abs.

Here's what I ate:
B-turkey sausage (4oz) on 100 calorie bread
S-apple
L-large garden salad with chicken, lettuce, tomato, mango salsa, Mandarin Orange vinaigrette dressing
S-protein bar
D-brown rice with black beans

Comments: I plan to lift and run tomorrow! At least three miles. Ready set go!
