Day 20-Saturday 11/28

Well, it looks like I am not going to make it to the gym today. I am still entering in data. Yes, I collected surveys from 88 health club members, but I didnt know I had to enter all these responses in by hand. Oh my goodness. I will just write my entry now and if I am able to workout as planned, I will record the information tomorrow.

Exercise: I will claim about 35 min of strength training with M & M from VA not to be confused with M & M from PBGC. Our workout consisted of curls, shoulder presses, deadlifts, push-ups....you know the works. We were all grunting so that's a good thing. I wanted to get in cardio today, but hey I threw some jacks and knees up in their workout so I got my heart rate up. My monitor said I burned 200 calories..not bad for 35 min.

Food:
B-protein bar (Starving but on the run)
S-protein bar (Still hungry)
L-1/2 grilled chicken sandwich from ToGos (290cal), diet pepsi, baked lays
D-other 1/2 of grilled chicken sandwich from ToGos (290 cal)
S-diet pepsi, trail mix (200 cal)

Comments:
  • I knew it was too good to be low in calories once I tasted it. I looked it up and it had 580 calories and get this 27 grams of fat. That's because of the dressing they put on it. Stay away from the Chicken Brushetta at ToGos. It is fat in disguise.
  • I stopped by Sports Authority for the weight set I wanted and then was too lazy to buy it because the container the weights were in was soooo heavy. Next time I will go with a rolling suit case or have one of the guys take it out to the car for me. As I tried to get it off the shelf I thought, "Just lift at work, Angela". I took myself up on that offer.
  • I was determined not to eat that whole bag of trail mix even though I was getting tired and a little frustrated adding all those responses. I only ate half the bag partly because I looked at the calorie content. The whole bag would have been 400 calories.I'm glad I looked.
